| The Glenafton gang have been around since 1993 following
the death of our beloved moggie - ever tried to get a moggie kitten at the
wrong time of year? Well, we ended up with a beautiful Blue/Cream Persian,
who we sadly lost at a young age, and it started from there. You know the
feeling? It's cheaper to feed 2, 3, 4.............Tootsie (Pladda
Geminesse) who is pictured above and who will live for ever in our hearts, was also responsible for us being bitten
by the show bug. Showing, like breeding, is very much a hobby for us.
We mainly breed Bi- and Tri-Colours in Persian and now Exotic (much less grooming!) and our ultimate aim is to breed a good dilute line of Exotics with the correct pedigree (by Persian standards) and type. we aim to eliminate, eventually the dominant and smoke from our pedigrees. Currently there is dominant a couple of generations behind Didi and Des together with a smoke right at the end. It may take some years but we will get there eventually! We are very proud of our first home bred Exotic grand champion, Gr Ch Glenafton Double Delight (Didi). Didi is the first Exotic grand champion bred in Scotland and the first of her colour in the UK (there is, however, a Grand premier). All our Exotic girls are now champions as is our lovely stud boy, Didi's brother Ch. Glenafton Desperado. Also, we're very grateful to our friends Nikki & Eifion for showing Pr. Glenafton Rhythmnblues so well and Alan & Heather over in Ireland for showing Glenafton Dropdedgorjus who is now an International Grand Premier. Thanks to all of you (and the owners of all the other Glenafton babies) for loving them so much. |
